PCGI Helped the Federal Health Agency to establish a robust Master data Management and Data Governance Model platform to address Data Quality issues that were impeding the agency from regulating pharmaceutical products, medical devices and food products, on Client’s mission to safeguard public health

How We Helped

Build a clean and reliable inventory (Master Data Repository) of all regulated entities (ranging in millions of records)

  • Uniquely identify each entity using key attributes and external identifiers to establish a single version of truth (Unique Entity Identifier – UEI) for consumption across the Agency
  • Maintain a cross walk between the Unique Entity Identifier and third-party ids
  • Provide Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) capabilities for interfacing systems to maintain a consistent view of the Entity:
  • Entity (UEI) & Address validation
  • Crosswalk of multiple identifiers
  • Enable centralized Data Quality stewardship by providing advanced data quality reporting and data cleansing tools for business users and data stewards.
  • Establish a robust Data Governance program to proactively engage with other programs within the Agency to establish data standards and facilitate a consistent view of the Entity across the Agency
